This was our first time visiting Salaryman Toco Hill and what an amazing experience we had. We started off with some Pork belly Buns and Beef buns, and let me tell you …. it did not disappoint. The pork belly was rendered beautifully with crispy edges, the bulgogi beef had a smoky and charred taste like it was from a Korean bbq, both stuff in an airy fluffy bao buns. What a nostalgic start! I ordered the Gochujang roasted chicken special which almost had a whole chicken per order. What a deal! The meat was so juicy and tender, the skin was nicely charred, and the sauce was indescribable. It was paired with a side of rice and grilled squash and zucchini. One word….Delicious. Not to mention the Japanese claw machine they have in the corner! We ordered some drinks and almost stayed til closing playing the claw games. If you want something different for dinner instead of your boring usuals, this is the place to be. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

A few weeks ago I visited Salaryman in Toco Hills for the first time and they seem to have nailed the art of crafting delicious Korean fried chicken wings. The crispy texture & moist interior paired with a sweet and mildly spicy flavor profile was a winning combination. Easily the best wings I have ever had. Also, if you have a sweet tooth, I highly recommend their handmade mochi donuts with vanilla ice cream. It comes with caramel drizzle and whipped cream, which seriously hit the mark. This dessert was a perfect blend of flavors and a great way to end such an excellent meal. I would rate Salaryman a 10/10 and I cannot wait to go back.

Stopped in with a friend for Happy Hour(3-6pm)…so good! The lettuce wraps and Brussels for starters are great light options. The spicy ramen is no joke, very spicy! Be prepared to sweat. Indoor and outdoor seating options available.

Update: to the owner’s response saying that photo I posted looks as if I was a victim of ubereats theft. I highly doubt that. First of all, the bag was stapled shut with three staples. I had a chicken sandwich with that “spicy broccoli salad” as a side, along with chicken and pork gyoza, rock shrimp tempura, and key lime pie…and you’re trying to say the driver selected the broccoli salad (out of everything) to eat out of? Not to mention, the item was the wettest and stickiest item? Clearly you are trying to save face, reputation wise. Your staff may usually fill up the container, but they did not this time. Workers in the kitchen tonight must’ve been hurry or just didn’t care. I already called Ubereats and shared your response and post and they agree that theft would be rare and odd that would be the item eaten out of, out of everything. The are partially refunding me based on situation and your response. I do not need anything else from you - only for your kitchen or prep staff to DO BETTER! I just ordered via ubereats and very disappointed. This is the supposedly their spicy broccoli salad that was with the chicken sandwich I ordered (I opted for this instead of fries). As you can see from the pic, this is how it arrived- mostly all liquid and not much to it in terms of broccoli and portion wise. The chicken sandwich is also different looking and much smaller than in the pictures they use.

The place is neat. clean and cool decor on the inside, restrooms are clean. Bottom line I would come back just for drinks, this is my second visit here and their drinks are good and service is amazing but the food is not worth my money. Our server was Maggie and she’s pretty cool and provided us with awesome service.

Let's just say I love that this place opened up in Toco Hills! It's a great addition to the plaza and as well as a great choice to eat. The food here is so good and they have a nice variety for any type of weather. I especially like the twist they have on pizza, but the burger is also fabulous. On nice days I like to sit out on the patio and they make a mean old-fashioned! Lots of drink choices! The service is always good and the atmosphere is fun, try it out you won't be disappointed!!!

*updated from 3 to 4 stars* Glad we came back for another visit! The lettuce wrap app was great. The ramen is better than Pao Pao Ramen across the street. Also happy to see that tint has been added to the windows so hopefully it's not as blinding when the sun sets. --------- I heard the hype about the Korean inspired pizzas and came to check them out. Different, but not exactly in a good way-- unfortunately, the Korean fried chicken pizza was not the texture we'd hoped for with floppy pizza crust and non crunchy chicken pieces. On the upside, the cocktails are good and won't break the bank (<$15). They go so well with the small plates, which is probably what the average salaryman is looking for. The double fried Korean fried chicken was pretty tasty. Despite being recommended, the fried brussel sprouts were a miss for me-- the first few pieces were great but the rest were too oily and saucy that drowned the brussels. But the beet cocktail was a hit (for those who really like beets). The space is quite open and nice with lots of natural lighting... Except when the sun started going down into view and cast glare and shadows across most of the seating. This is my biggest complaint because there is no good seating when this is a problem. The big glass windows face west to the direct sunlight. Most people turn their backs to the sun to have it overheat and those facing the sun are blinded. We had a good time. I'll probably go again to try the interesting cocktails, ramen, and other menu items. Maybe we'll request a well-done pizza to get one not so floppy. And hopefully there will be window shades or blinds by the next visit. Notably, this restaurant location has been open for less than a week, so maybe improvements are already in the works. Pros: reasonably priced cocktails, speedy service, great fusion concepts Cons: floppy pizza, over-sauced brussel sprouts, sunlight is blinding due to the direct light

This place is amazing! Lovely weather calls for outdoor seating and this location has a great patio area. Amazing service also - servers are super attentive and very kind. They know the menu well to explain to guests that haven't tried …
